It is home to a number of hotels including the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. The National Harbor community also boasts an array of commercial space, a marina and waterfront condos. There are a variety of events and festivals that run year round and draw large crowds. The new National Children’s Museum is also located at National Harbor.

Getting Around:

There are a number of ways to get to and around National Harbor. Water Taxi service runs to and from Alexandria. Metrorail does not run directly to the Harbor, however visitors and residents can pick up the shuttle that runs from the Branch Avenue Metro station (Green Line). There is direct road access from I-295, I-495 and Oxon Hill Road.
