Buyer Representation

 

Home Buyers overwhelmingly elect to have their real estate agent represent their interests in the home buying process and not those of the seller. My clients choose us as their Buyer Representative because:

The National Association of REALTORS® has shown that when a Buyer's Representative was used, the prospective Buyer found a home one week faster and examined three more properties than those consumers who did not use a Buyer's Representative.

 

Your Buyer Agent

A Buyer Agent is an agent retained by the buyer to represent the buyer's interests. Not all agents who show homes to buyers represent them! The duty of a Buyer Agent is to locate the right home for the buyer, and negotiate on buyers' behalf for best price and terms, maintain buyer's confidentiality and disclose all known information about the seller AND THE HOME to the buyer.

 

I am licensed to transact business in Virginia and Maryland. Each of these jurisdictions has a different set of rules and regulations regarding your relationship with your real estate agent. As a buyer, it's important for you to be informed of what your choices are and the agreement with your agent should be set forth in writing. Before you begin your home search in earnest, you should discuss your representation options with me.
